Harry Atkinson Art & Craft Centre.

What a wholesome day Lian and Cameron’s wedding was, surrounded by their closest loved ones and full of smiles and colour. They had a casual, daytime, intimate wedding in mind and I was entrusted with dressing up their local community centre. This was made easy with beautiful floor to ceiling windows with a view of the park and all natural light coming in, which made for a perfect back drop for their ceremony.

The brief was lots of colour and Australian natives, to perfectly match the bride’s excellent fashion taste. All the colour created such a fun look and brightened up this humble community venue. Another perfect addition to this casual and non-traditional wedding, was all grazing tables for food, dessert, and drinks which were a hit with the guests.

Jay and her team were absolute superstars in the lead-up and on the day of my recent wedding.

I went into the planning with a shoestring budget and no clear idea of what I wanted, and Jay did a masterful job of turning a pretty humble community hall into a wedding venue with her recommendations and helpful suggestions. She even juggled suppliers and vendors on the day, making sure everything was perfect and I didn’t have to think about anything except writing my vows before the ceremony.

I’m thankful for her hard work and attention to detail - without her it would have been a much more stressful (and far less beautiful) day.
